#sewingsanta

Just a quick post to show you the exciting Christmas present I received from my #sewingsanta! Look what I got….

This is a rather cool idea where you are randomly allocated other sewing bloggers to buy presents for and receive presents from. The rules are that it should be sewing related and cost £10 or less. Well there must have been some clever budgeting to get this little lot for that price! Thank you so much to underalteration for my prezzie, I love it!

Firstly, that is a papercut pattern right there! It is the 1015 Midsummer’s Night Dream Dress/Cami. I’ve never used one of their patterns before so I’m quite excited to give it ago. And look at the lovely fabric I can make it in! It will make a really nice dress for my holiday to Crete next year in July.

Once again, thanks to Lisa from Stitched up from the start for hosting this. Definitely sign me up for next year. And thanks to my #sewingsanta. I love it!

Now I would like to see the rest of you #sewingsanta recipients blog about what you’ve got because I’m very nosy!

Hope you all have a happy new year x

  1. So glad you like it! And I’ll admit my budgeting was rather helped by shopping my (embarrassingly extensive) stash, but I’m glad to pass on the sewing love! 🙂 Can’t wait to see your version of the dress for your summer holiday – that sounds perfect!

    • It’s perfect! Have just completed a knit wrap dress that I’ve worn loads and is fast becoming my favourite make. Hopefully I can do this dress justice too! Thank you so much x
