Being a bridesmaid!

Hello again!  Apologies if you thought you were inadvertently following a woodworking blog with the recent posts – my husband has been very busy in his Manshed (and my garden shed – it is very squished).  I can assure you that I’ve been very busy sewing it’s just that until now I’ve been unable to blog about any of it!

The end of MMM15 and a new frock

Success! I’m so happy I completed Me Made May. I’m also quite pleased that it’s over and done with! I’ve enjoyed wearing my own clothes but the weather has been so awful & cold I’ve not always been able to wear the most appropriate items. My challenge was to wear everything I’ve made at some point so my summer makes did end up with lots of layers over the top, which defeated the object somehow.

We’re just about getting into the swing of our school holidays now and today we had some glorious weather. We went on a huge family walk and I had to carry my coat! Almost unheard of in Scarborough! When we got back home I just about had enough energy to complete a mini project I’ve been working on for Bethan.
